Design Principles
Overview
Precision. Scale. Rhythm. Our three design principles help guide our creative decision-making. They are the framework that help make sure everything we're doing with the visual identity connects back to our Brand Meme (In Concert).
Our Design Principles
Rhythm
- Orchestration
- Harmony
- Timing
Rhythm is all about pacing, timing, and movement. Elements move and flow in way that feels conductor-like. A strong grid with deliberate spacing and repetition gives the eye a natural, clear path to follow. There is a sense of multiple systems working together in harmony.
Precision
- Technical
- Advanced
- Reliable
Precision means that every element earns its place. When we use linework, it almost feels engineered. It alludes to a deep complexity without showing off; an elevated, considered language that reads as high-engineering and high-trust, where nothing is ornamental and everything is intentional.
Scale
- Extensible
- Modular
- Contrast
Scale is how the visual system can tell the full story, from a single robot to an entire factory floor. The same elements can describe one path, one task, one moment… then expand to map fleets and workflows without changing the language.
